what do you think of this science fair project?
My plan is to levitate a magnetic cube using a powerful electromagnet. Basically, i’m using a car battery to make a powerful electromagnet with a metal bowl shaped end. The cube will be made by gluing six square magnets to each side of a wooden cube so all the same force is pushed outward. When the cube is placed in the bowl, i’m hoping it will levitate.

Do you think this will work? Is there anything i need to worry about? Also what gauge wire is best for electromagnets like this? Please answer these questions if you are educated in physics. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

The Devil costume would be hot, but I think the Fresh Prince one is so much more original. Every chick goes as a hot something or other for halloween. Yes! I thought it was terrific and have it on DVD – one of the few good things Val Kilmer did before he became a diva. I loved Graham Green as the tribal police chief – he was so funny but tough and serious when necessary. A great favorite of mine. Good choice!

Razonje – no, this one had Val Kilmer, Sam Shepherd, Graham Green, and Fred Ward and took place on an Indian reservation. It’s super – no Jean Claude Van Dumb here. Check it out!
