Night on Earth (1991)

Plot: A collection of five stories involving cab drivers in five different cities. Los Angeles – A talent agent for the movies discovers her cab driver would be perfect to cast, but the cabbie is reluctant to give up her solid cab driver’s career. New York – An immigrant cab driver is continually lost in a city and culture he doesn’t understand. Paris – A blind girl takes a ride with a cab driver from the Ivory Coast and they talk about life and blindness. Rome – A gregarious cabbie picks up an ailing man and virtually talks him to death. Helsinki – an industrial worker gets laid off and he and his compatriots discuss the bleakness and unfairness of love and life and death.

Seeing things before they happen?
ok so thrusday i was sitting in the car and i was daydreaming of a car crash and somone putting out their hands to stop from hitting their face againts the windshield and how it would mess their hands up for like.
than my mom turned the radeo on and it said their was a car crash the next block over from were we were.
but i just took it as one of those things that happend. than later that night i was reading my book that talkes about how earth is going to be after everyone dies.
and i was thinking about hw sad it is how people can be alive one day than dye the next. late that night i fell asleep and had a dream about my house ketching on fire and me not getting out.
and my Friend Tony saving me. than the next morning my mom was driving me to school and said that last night she went in my room to talk to me and she said that i woke up and said "i know i dreamed it" she siad what she was going to tell me was that my old friend Tony died in a house fire, him and his family couldnt get out.
it freaked me out cuz i had a feeling something bad was gunna happen and i even said it too. Has anyone had anyrthing strange like th at happen to them before?

Don’t worry you are psychic.Sometimes when we are psychic and we dream about something it;s not really about us but we’re dreaming through the another persons eyes and we think it’s about us but it’s not.Try to to get too freaked out about it.It’s a gift and a curse to be able to see the future.

I think you are probably exaggerating a little. But in general, if you worry about enough things long enough, some of them will seem like something that happens once in awhile.

usually people with extremely strong minds are born with the gift…because who would be able to handle seeing all that bad stuff in their minds?? Not many people. I would hate to see the future.

Yes I have had dreams like that aswell. I think everyone is a little "psychic." I woke up to the phone ringing once, I answered it and before they said anything I said ‘I already know.’ I freaked the sh** out of them because I was half asleep, but I had just been dreaming about them and what had happened.
So I think If you’re open minded you can get glimpses of things, specially when you sleep.
You should always trust your instincts.. they are usually right.

Every human is somewhat clairvoyant whether they realize it or not, it just comes more naturally to some. Just as it’s easier for some people to astral project than others..
The great thing about dreams is that they are not just a medium for foresight, but also a medium for past memories to resurface.
With what you describe I’d feel like this was more of past memories… but I don’t know how much you knew before the dream, so I can’t really make an assumption.

Yes! you have your a clairvoyance. Use your talent wisely. You can still enhance it by focusing on your third eye or the brow chakra. Awareness of this can enhance your contributing property for others.

Those types of revelations of unknown events happen to me every day. Mom always said I had someone watching over me, but I credit to statistical probablility or not standing up when they say duck.

You had a premonition; this happens frequently to people, but they ignore it, or deny it, because it is not experienced as reality-as we understand it. The explanation of this phenomena is best explained by physics and how we experience time. I wouldn’t even attempt to explain this here, but, there are books you can read on this subject-Quantum Physics. Also, look at books by Stephen Hawkings-he recently died, but I think that is his name. I am sure you can find articles on the internet-it is about how we experience time. Heavy Stuff.

sorry to hear about your friend, that sort of thing has happened to me before but I think its just predicting to a certain extent, that and coincidence. I was thinking about something that was worrying me and then suddenly I knew what was going to happen, freaked the hell out of my friends but I was right. Physics don’t exist-thats my opinion anyway.
